The
Humber Diploma in Business Management
is
designed to teach fundamentals of business functions as well
as developing highly marketable skills of effective
communication, teamwork, project management and strategic
business analysis; students complete a total of 20
subjects. Following the two-years of study at the degree
level in Singapore, students can elect to continue to Canada
to complete the Advanced Diploma in Business Administration
or articulate directly into the third year of the Bachelor
of Applied Business with a focus on International Business,
Tourism Management, Human Resources, e-Business Marketing,
or Fashion Management.
Bachelor of Applied Business @ Humber
is an
exciting and unique degree pathway is offered to Canadian
School of Advanced Learning (CSAL) business students. The
Humber College Business Management Diploma program
articulates into Humber's Bachelor of Applied Business
degree program in Canada. Subject to satisfying the academic
admission requirements, the two year’s of study at the
degree level lead directly into the final two years of the
degree program. This degree includes a paid work term which
can be completed in Canada.
Thus,
Diploma in Business Management graduates of CSAL can apply
to articulate into the Bachelor of Applied Business degree
with specialization in the following:

means that CSAL students have two years to be grounded in
business foundation studies and then two years to specialize
in a chosen business discipline. Degree students will
participate in an applied business project and one full term
of paid work experience, highly valued by future employers
and your pocketbook!

Each subject is valued at 3 credits which is 42 hours of
instruction per subject per term with some subjects
requiring tutorials. {Subject offerings may vary each
term}
CSAL graduates receiving an overall grade point average
of 75% in the first two years of degree level study and
a minimum grade of 70% in English, have the option of
entering directly into one of Humber’s degrees Depending
on achieved overall grade point average and/or English
level proficiency, some students may be required to join
the third year of the Advanced Diploma in Business
Administration prior to entering the specialization
years (three and four) of the Bachelor’s degree.

Upon successful completion of all courses
students are awarded tthe Diploma in Business Administration
issued by
Humber College, Toronto. The Diploma is recognized by Humber and will
qualify the student for admission to Humber Bachelor of
Applied Business or Advanced Diploma in Business programme,
depending on the students GPA.
